Sepoy Mutiny in 1857. led by mangal panday. which started from the regiment of meerut. and was led to Delhi. as the Indian soldiers in British army were forced to use the cartilage made up of the skin of cows and buffaloes. which were religous to the Indian soldiers. they refuse and there demands for replace the cartilage was satisfied. they rose up in the sepoy Mutiny in 1857. which is considered as the first freedom struggle of india
