The energy stored in the coil is 3.16\times 10^{-3}\ J.

Given :

Number of turns , n = 200.

Radius , r = 0.10 m .

Current in coil , I = 2 A .

Since , length is not mentioned we will take it as , L = 1 m .

We know, Inductance of a coil is :

I=\dfrac{n^2\mu_oA}{L}

Putting all values in it we get :

L=1.58\times 10^{-3}\ henry.

Now, we know Energy of a coil is given by :

E=\dfrac{L\times I^2}{2}

Putting all values we get ,

E=3.16\times 10^{-3}\ J.

Hence, this is the required solution.
