A plane flying at 6000 m above the sea level. At a particular point,it is exactly above the submarine floating 1500m below the sea level. What is the vertical distance between them?

Height at which plane is flying above the sea levelm=6000m

The distance at which submarine is floating below sea level =1500m So, the vertical distance between submarine and plane =6000m +1500m =7500m =7.5km
