Distance of plane from sea lévél = 5000m

Distance of submarine from sea lévél = -1200m

Total vertical distànce between them = 5000m-(-1200m) = 5000m+1200m =6200 m

Answer:  6200 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Distance of plane from sea level = +5000 m

Distance of submarine from sea level = -1200 m

Distance between = 5000 - ( -1200 )

                                = 5000 + 1200

                                = 6200 m

Hope this helps
