200 m below the sea level what is the vertical distance between them

According to the given problem ,

Distance of the flight above the sea

level = 5000m

Distance of the submarine below the

Sea level = -1200m

Vertical distance between flight and

Submarine = | 5000 | + | - 1200 |

= 5000 + 1200

= 6200 m
