A plane is going in circle around an airport the plane takes 3 minutes to complete one round the angle of elevation of the plane from point p on the ground at time t second is equal to that at time (t+30) second at time (t+x) seconds the plane flies vertically above the point p what is x equal to?

Answer:

As, it is given that Angle of elevation of  plane from point p on the ground at time t second is equal to that at time (t+30) second at time (t+x) seconds the plane flies vertically above the point p.

Let speed of plane = y m/second

Distance covered by plane in (t +x) second = y(t+x) meter

Distance covered by plane in (t+30) second= y(t+30) meter

Let angle of elevation in both the cases be equal to W.

And distance of Point p from top of the plane = H meter

In Right Δ OAB and In Δ OAC

tan W=\frac{H}{y(t+x)}----(1)\\\\,tan W=\frac{H}{y(t+30)}------(2)\\\\ {\text{equating (1) and (2)} \\\\ y t + y x= yt+30 y

→ y x =30 y

→ x=30
