•Here according to the question, a plane mirror is moving towards me with a speed of 1m/s. Now we have to determine the speed with which my image is approaching me.

Here is the solution:-

My velocity(Vb) is = 1m/s

velocity(Vi) of the image is = -1m/s

here we are using negative sign because of its opposite direction

The speed between me and the image is (Vb-Vi) = {1-(-1)} = 2 m/s

•so the image is approaching to me in 2m/s
