Y = 2 sin ( 200πt - 0.5x).

Where the symbols have their usual meaning, find the frequency, period and wavelength.

Now ω = 2πf

given ω = 200 π  = 2πf ⇒ 100 hertz

for wavelength

compare from given equation 1/λ = 0.5 ⇒ λ = 2 metre
