A planet has a mass of 8.4 x1024 kg which is about 8 times the mass of its single moon. If the distance between the planet and the moon is 4.2 x 105 km , what is the gravitational pull of the planet on the moon?

Gravitational pull on moon F = Gm1m2 / r^2
= 6.67259 * 10^-11 N m^2/kg^2 * 8.4 * 10^24 kg / (4.2 * 10^5 km)^2
= 3.33 * 10^27 N
