Answer:

The acceleration due to gravity of planet x is 2.222

Explanation:

Let, the mass of earth is m and radius of earth is r.

acceleration due to gravity of earth is g

and acceleration due to gravity of planet x is g(x)

according to question

mass of planet x = 2m and radius of planet x = 3 r

now, g = Gm/r^2    -------1

        g(x) = G2m/(3r)^2

        g(x) = G2m/9r^2   ------2

dividing equation 2 by 1

       g(x)/g = G2m/9r^2 .r^2/GM

       g(x) = 2/9 .g

putting the value of g =10

       g(x) = 2/9 .10

              = 20/9 = 2.222
