A plank has a mass of 5 kg and length of 3 m resting horizontally on two trestles P and Q which are 2.50 apart. When a student of mass 60 kg walks alongside the plank from one trestle to another the plank sags.

Calculate the downward force exerted on each trestle when the student is a distance of 0.50m from trestle p and 1.25 m from trestle p
