It is given that :-

  • Focal length of lens = 100cm.
  • Radius of curvature of surface = 60cm.

Now, we know that the lens formula is :

 \frac{1}{f}  =  (\mu - 1)\frac{1}{r}  +  \frac{?}{r_2}

After inputting tue values we get :-

 \frac{1}{100}  = (\mu - 1) \times  \frac{1}{60}  +  \frac{1}{60}

 \frac{1}{100}  =  \frac{\mu - 1}{30}

30 = 100\mu - 100

130 = 1 00\mu

\mu =  \frac{130}{100}  = \cancel \frac{130}{100}  = 1 .3

Therefore we get that refractive Index of given lens is 1.3.
