Hypertonic solutions are concentrated solutions...the process of osmosis occurs in which molecules move from lower to higher concentration

bcoz water from the plant cell goes to the solution due to exosmosis as water moves frm region of its higher to region of its lower concentration....hence the plant cell turns flaccid and gets plasmolysed..
hope u got ur answer
thanks for asking
