A plant cell when kept in a hypotonic salt solution for about 30 minutes turns flaccid.

Explanation:

In a salt solution, there is less amount of solvent and more amount of solute. When a plant cell is kept in such a solution ,the water inside the cell moves out of the cell due to osmosis.
