Answer: In a hypertonic solution where salt concentration is high than the water concentration the plant cell will lose water hence create turgor pressure due to plasmolysis. Due to the plasmolysis the cell will shrink and the cell wall will separate from the cell membrane and shrink and eventually crumple.
