Hi Lakshay!

Hope it helps!

Answer:It is because of some factors like:

1. Quality of the seeds

2. Climate

3. Soil fertility

4. Water availibility

5. Proper germination

Explanation:

Lets explain it now:

1. Quality of the seeds: If the seeds are of a nice quality,

They will transform into plants easily. Rotten seeds won't grow. We can check this whether the seeds are of a good quality or not by putting the seeds in a bowl of water. Those seeds which will float on water are not qualified ones. those seeds which will not float are of good quality and you can grow them easily.

2. Climate is also a great factor of deciding whether the seeds will grow or not. If the climate is not suitable to the preference of the seeds for example heavy rain; light rain temperature etc., seeds will not grow easily. Hence climate is also an important factor. For example you cannot grow paddy in winters.

Hence proper amounts of sunlight, water and carbon dioxide are needed.(plant never grow in completely dark rooms)

3. Soil fertility is also a factor in the soil is not enough fertile the plants won't grow. Henceforth, infertile soil (with extremely low amount of minerals) will not allow the seeds to grow.

4. Suppose you dont water your plants a day or two, especially in summers, they will start to turn brown and start to decay. Seeds will never grow if they aren't watered

On the other hand, if you pour too much water to the seeds, they will rot and decompose.

Hence, ADEQUATE WATER IS A MUST

5. Go to your backyard and throw a mongo on the soil where you grow plants. Imagine a plant could grow even in this way!

NO, DEFINITELY NOT!

So, in this case, you will have to separate the seed from the pulp and then plant it and water it efficiently and THEN after 3 weeks, a small plant will appear. Which will give fruit after half a decade.

Hence proper germination of the seeds is important.

Note- In their natural habitat, seeds dont need proper germination as the environment is adequate for germination in any way.

There are many factors which are required for the germination of the seed.

Explanation

  • The apparent amount of Sunlight is required for the conversion of seed into  a plant. In addition to this there is also enough amount of water and nutrients which are required for the germination of the seed.
  • In addition to this there are certain amount of seeds which are defective in nature. They are due to the the inappropriate maturation of the seed.
  • The viability of the seed is also an important factor required for the seed to germinate
