Aquatic Plants are used for wastewater treatment. Basically, these plants are water plants that grow in water and these plants can be floating or submerged aquatic plants. The process of absorption and release of water in the aquatic plants are faster than any other plant. Moreover, the floating plants have a different ability to meet their need for carbon dioxide and oxygen as compared to submerged plants.

Explanation:

Eucalyptus plant has water absorbent quality especially for waste water. It release pure water vapour in return which mixes with the atmosphere.it is for this feature that environmentalists suggest the growth of Eucalyptus plants along major wastewater basins and and drains also, so that pure water can be released in a natural process. It is the same method of cleansing and a form of water treatment by a natural process.
