Answer:

Current production= 4,00,000

rate of reduction= 10% per year

so, reduction after 1 year=

 \frac{10}{100}  \times 400000 \\  = 40000

production after 1 year= current production- reduction after 1 year

so, production after 1 year= 4,00,000- 40,000

hence the production after 1 year

= 3,60,000 plastic bottles

Hope this helps

Current production= 4,00,000

so, reduction after 1 year=

\begin{gathered} \frac{10}{100} \times 400000 \\ = 40000\end{gathered}

100

10

×400000

=40000

production after 1 year= current production- reduction after 1 year

so, production after 1 year= 4,00,000- 40,000

hence the production after 1 year
