A Platinum resistance thermometer reads 0 degree Celsius when its temperature resistance is 8 ohms and hundred degree Celsius and its resistance is 90 ohm find the temperature of the platinum scale at which the resistance is 86 ohms

Resistance temp.(R_t)= 86Ω

resistance at 0°(R_0°)=8 Ω

resistance at 100°(R_100°)=90Ω

t={(R_t)-(R_0°)}/{(R_100°)-(R_0°)}

t= (86-8)/(90-8) * 100

t= 95°C
