A play ground has the shape of a rectangle with two semicircle on its smaller side as diameter added to its outside if the sides if the sides of the rectangle are 36m and 24.5m find the area of the play ground

area of rectangle =l×b
36×24.5
882 m square
then
area of 2 semicircle=2×1\2 ×24.5×24.5
600.25 m square
then total area of ground =882+600.25=1482.25 m square

here is Ur answer>>>

area of rectangular part=l×b

=36×24.5

=882m²

radius for the semicircle part=24.5/2

=12.25m

area of both semicircle=πr²

=(22/7×12.5×12.5)

=3437.5/7m²

total area=882+3437.5/7

=6174+3437.5/7

=9611/7

=1373m²
