A play ground is int he shape of ractangle.the length of rectangle is 3 times its bredth and its area is 1728 sq.cms. find the perimeter

Let the breath be be x and length be 3x.
Area of rectangle= l×b
=x×3x=1728 sq.cm
=3x^2=1728
=x^2=1728÷3
=x^2=576
=x=24cm.

breadth of rectangle=24cm
lenth of rectangle=3×24cm=72cm

perimeter of rec.=2(l+b)
=2(72cm +24cm)
=2(96cm)
=192cm
