new length is 60 +2=62 m

new breath is 45+2=47m

new area is 62 × 47 =2914m^2

old breath =45 m

old length =60m

old area =45 × 60=2700 m ^2

area of path=new area -old area

=2914-2700

=214m^2

PLEASE MARK IT AS BRAINLIST

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Answer :-}}}}

The area of the Path is 214 sq.m

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Explanation :-}}}}

Given :

The Length of the Rectangle = 60 m

Breadth of the Rectangle = 45 m

Width of the path = 1 m

To find :

The area of the path

Solution :

Area of the path = Area of bigger Rectangle - Area of smaller Rectangle.

First, find the area of the Rectangular play ground. (Smaller Rectangle)

Area of Rectangle = \tt{Length \times Breadth}

\tt{\implies} \: 60 \times 45

\tt{\implies} \: 2700

Area of the Smaller Rectangle = 2700 sq.m

\rule{300}{1}

Area of the bigger Rectangle =

Length = 60 + 1 × 2 = 62

Breadth = 45 + 1 × 2 = 47

\tt{\implies}\: 62 \times 47

\tt{\implies}\: 2914

Area of the Bigger Rectangle = 3008 sq.m

\rule{300}{1}

Area of the Path =

Area of Bigger Rectangle = 3008 sq.m

Area of the Smaller Rectangle = 2700 sq.m

\tt{\implies} \: 2914 - 2700

\tt{\implies} \: 214

\therefore The area of the Path is 214 sq.m
