Explanation:- This is the question based on impulse momentum theorem .

  • |F*∆T| = |change in momentum|
  • |F∆T| = |pᶠ - pᵢ |
  • As the ball will stop after catching
  • pᵢ = mvᵢ = 0.15 × 20 = 3 , pᶠ = 0
  • F × 0.1 = 3

=> F = 30N Answer

= 30N.
