It takes 40 seconds to complete one revolution.
2 min 20 s = 140 s
Total number of revolutions in 140 seconds = 140/40 = 3.5
Now, we know that
It takes 3.5 revolutions after 140 seconds
3.5 revolutions = 3 revolutions + 0.5 revolution
Displacement after “n” revolutions is zero. Because initial and final point is same.
Displacement after 0.5 revolution = 2r
Because Shortest Distance between initial and final position after half revolution is 2r (= Diameter of circle)
So, Answer is 2r
3.5 is not Displacement. It’s number revolutions it takes after 2 min 20 seconds.

Answer:
displacement will be 2r because a player completes a circular track in 40s
in 140s he complete 3.5 rounds
So, he's displacement will be 2r.
I hope it will help u
