Total Area play ground  = 4746 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

A playground in the form of a rectangle having semicircles on the shorter sides

Length = 80 m

Breadth = 42 m

Area of rectangular Part = 80 * 42  =  3360 m²

Shorter side = 42 m

two Semi circle on two shorter side = one circle on Shorter side

Diameter of circle = 42 m

Radius = 42/2 = 21 m

Area of circle = π * Radius²

using π = 22/7

= (22/7) * 21²

= 1386 m²

Total Area = 3360 + 1386  =  4746 m²
