This is very simple

Given that,
Length = 38 m,50 cm
Width = 61 m,40cm

We know that,
100cm = 1 m
50cm = 0.5 m

Length = 38 + 0.5 = 38.5 cm
Width = 61 + 0.5 = 61.5 cm

Area = lb
= 38.5*61.5
= 23677.5 cm

100 cm = 1m
23677.5 cm = 236.775 m
Cost of leveling per meter square = 40 rupees
= 236.775*40
= 9471 rupees
