Answer:

₹18400 and 2.82 rounds.

Step-by-step explanation:

L of the playground = 460m

B of the playground = 250m

therefore, perimeter of the playground =>

2(460+250)m

= 2(710)m

= 1420m

therefore, area of the playground =

(460 × 250)m²

= 115000m²

Now, Question number (a) →

cost of levelling 100m² = ₹16

cost of levelling 1m² = ₹ 16/100

therefore, cost of levelling 115000m² = ₹(16/100)×115000

= ₹18400

Now, Question Number (b) →

Perimeter of the playground = 1420m

Number of such perimeters in 4km/4000m =

(4000/1420)

= 2.82 (approx) such perimeters/ rounds of that perimeter to cover a distance of 4km.

hope it helped

thanks !!
