:Length of outside = 110

Breadth of outside = 80

Area of plot = L × B

= 110 × 80

= 8800

Length of inside = 110 - 10 = 100

Breadth of inside = 80 - 10 = 70

Area of inside = 100 × 70 = 7000

Answer:

Area of total field = 110 × 60 = 6600 m²

Area of field without grass = 6600 - 5 = 6595 m²

Thus, Area to be laid with grass = 6595 m²
