area of plot with path =50×30=1500sq metre.

area of plot without path=(50-10)(30-10)

=40×20=800sq metre.

therefore area of path =1500-800=700sq metre

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

given, length = 50m

width = 30m

 area of plot = lb = 50x30 = 1500m^2

a 5m wide path is constructed around the path then,

new length = 50 + 2(5) = 60m (for both sides)

new width = 30 + 2(5) = 40m (for both sides)

 area of plot with path = 60x40 = 2400m^2

Area of path =  area of plot with path - area of plot = 2400 - 1500 = 900m^2

........ I hope you will understand and like the answer.
