A plot of land , 600sq m in area , is divided between two persons such that the first person gets three fifth of what the second gets . Find the share of each

If second gets “x” then first gets 3x/5
Total area of land = 600 m²

x + 3x/5 = 600
8x/5 = 600
8x = 3000
x = 375 m²

If x = 375 m² then 3x/5 = (3/5) × (375) = 225 m²

First person gets land = 225 m²
Second person gets land = 375 m²

1st peron will get 600×3/5= 360sq. m
2nd person will get 600 × 2÷5= 240sq. m
