Answer:

225sq.cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given area =600 sq.m

Let the area gets by second person be 'X'

Given the area gets by first person =3/5 X

So

3/5X+X=600 sq.m

8/5X=600

X=600x5/8

X=375 sq.m

The area gets by second person =375 sq.m

The area gets by first person =3/5X sq.m

3/5x375=225sq.m

Given :-

Area of the plot = 600 m²

Share of first person = 3/5 of second person

To Find :-

Share of each person.

Solution :-

Let first person get x m²

Hence by given,

Second person would get,

\sf \dfrac{3}{5} \ of \ x

Share of second person,

Also by given,

\sf x+ \dfrac{3}{5} \  x=600

\sf \dfrac{(5x+3x)}{5} =600

In simplifying, we get

\sf 8x = 600 \times 5

\sf 8x = 3000

\sf x=\dfrac{3000}{8}

\sf x = 375

Hence,

Share of first person = x = 375 m²

Share of second person = \sf \dfrac{3}{5} \times x

\sf =\sf \dfrac{3}{5} \times 375

Share of second person= 225 m²

Therefore, the share of first and the second person is 375 m² and 225 m² respectively.
