Poem on childhood

Nutty chocolate's a favorite,
Icecream's too high on the list,
Candies Chips taste yummy,
Pizzas Noodles fill the tummy.

Mischief brings wicked pleasure,
Secret games are just thrill pure.
Fruits on neighbor's tree are sweet,
When father scolds, ears close tight.

Is there's anything like
Soft cake melting in the mouth,
Samose n Pakode on the plate,
Colorful clothes for Deewali Fest,
And Papa's Pat on the back.

It's pure pleasure n fun,
Seeing Comedy show in the night,
In Cinema favorite hero fight,
Receiving precious birthday gift,
And a summer waterworld visit.

Jump and run, sure to fall down,
Salty tears flow out as hot wounds burn,
Maa maa nonstop cry in pain,
Feels good her lap to sleep on.

Ram Arjun Savitri or Rani Jhansi,
With closed eyes hear Mom narrate.
Are great pride to emulate,
Fairy tales bring dreams sweet.

Friends and games fill the day,
Studies and marks elders only say.
Giggle on secret whispers in class,
Hide it quick as teacher frowns.

Laugh and love living childhood.
Challenging is growing to adulthood.
In thick forest like real world,
Be kind and brave like Robinhood.

Childhood

Playing with my toy
used to give me extreme joy,
Those days mine,
still shine in my mind.
It's about my childhood.

That time I was too innocent,
but equally excellent.
I used to slide and swing,
when the school bell used to ring.
It's about my childhood.

My mom says all about it,
but I remember only a bit.
I miss those days of mine,
which used to be mine at that time.
It's about my childhood

kvnmurty: Good. Really nice n sweet
