Answer :-

7cm

STEP-BY-STEP EXPLANATION :-

Refer the image first

From right angled ∆AOB

➡ OB² = OA² + AB²

➡ (25)² = OA² + (24)²

➡ 625 = OA² + 576

➡ OA² = 625 - 576

➡ OA² = 49 = 7²

➡ OA = 7

Hence, The radius of the circle is 7 cm

Given,

OB = 25

OA =?

AB = 24

 {ob}^{2}  =  {oa}^{2}  +  {ob}^{2}

 {25}^{2}  =  {oa}^{2}  +  {24}^{2}

625 =  {oa}^{2}  + 576

 {oa}^{2}  = 625 - 576

 {oa}^{2}  = 49

 {oa}^{2}  =  {7}^{2}

oa = 7
