Solution:

We know that x -axis only containes values of x only,thus on the x-axis both other coordinates are zero.

A point if represented in 3-D,so its co-ordinates are (x,0,0)

i.e.

(2,0,0) or it can be

(-5,0,0)

etc

thus its y and z coordinates are to be zero.

Extra Information:

A point on y-axis has  x = 0 and z=0 coordinates.

By the same way a point on z-axis has x=0 and y=0 coordinates .
