If there is a change in a single nucleotide and even after the change the amino acid is coding for the same protein this term is called as silent mutation
Point mutation has 3 types :
- nonsense
- missense
- silent
Silent mutation is a part of point mutation in which two amino acids codes for the same protein so there is no difference in the protein formed but the sequence changes.
