A point (X+2, X+4) lies in the first quadrant, the mirror image for which with respect to x axis is (3.-5). What is the value of x?

But,here given mirror image about an x-axis

So,by comparing both mirror image points

Then, we get value of x

»x+2=5 ,–(x+4)=-7

»x+2=5 , x+4=7

x=5–2=3 , x=7–4=3

Therefore,point lies in first quadrant is (5 , 7)
