LET AB BE THE POLE AND AS BE THE SHADOW .

POLE = 14M = AB

SHADOW = 10M = AS

LET PQ BE THE TREE AND PR BE T SHADOW.

TREE = ?? = X

SHADOW = 7M

TAKING RATIOS :

14/X = 10/7

98 = 10X

X = 9.8M

SHODOW OF THE TREE IS 9.8 METER .
