solution of this question can be found using trigonometry

12m = opp side

35m = adjacent side

tan(theta)= opp side/adjacent side

theta = tan inv(opp side/adjacent side)

then sin(theta)= opp side/ hypotenuse

hypotenuse + opp side equals the original length of the pole

2nd method

assuming that the pole is making a right angeled triangle with the ground

Pythagoras theoram can be used to find the hypotenuse

then hypotenuse + opp side equals the original length of the pole

Answer: This is your Answer

Step-by-step explanation: solution of this question can be found using trigonometry

35m = adjacent side

tan(theta)= opp side/adjacent side

theta = tan inv(opp side/adjacent side)

then sin(theta)= opp side/ hypotenuse

hypotenuse + opp side equals the original length of the pole

2nd method
