A pole casts a shadow of lgth 2√3m on the ground , when the suns elevation is 60°.find the hght of the pole?

height of pole = 6 m

We know, 
shadow = BC = 2√3 m
pole = AB

In the triangle ABC ,
tan 60° = AB / BC
√3 = AB / 2√3
AB = √3 * 2√3
AB = 2 *3
AB = 6 m

Therefore, the height of the pole is equal to 6 m
