A pole is broken at a height of 6m from the ground and its top touches the ground at a distance of 8m from the base of the pole. Find the orignal height of the pole

[tex] \sqrt{ {8 ^{2} + 6}^{2} } \\ = \sqrt{64 + 36 } \\ = \sqrt{100} \\ = 10cm
so the original height will be (10+6)=16cm [Answer]
