Given, the pole is cute into two pieces in the ratio 6 : 7

Let the constant be x

Let the length of one part be 6x and other part be 7x

Given, total length is 117cm

According to the question,

6x + 7x = 117

➾ 13x = 117

➾ x = 9

∴ Length of one part ➾ 6x

➾ 6 × 9

\blue{\boxed{\blue{\boxed{\green{\textsf{54\:cm}}}}}}

∴ Length of another part ➾ 7x

➾ 7 × 9

\blue{\boxed{\blue{\boxed{\green{\textsf{63\:cm}}}}}}

Answer: 54cm and 63 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the ratio is 6:7

Let the lengths of the two pieces be 6x and 7x.

6x + 7x = 117

13 x = 117

x = \frac{117}{13}

∴ x = 9

Putting value of x in 6x and 7x, we get

6x = 6(9) = 54 cm

7x = 7(9) 63 cm

Therefore, the lengths of the two parts are 54cm and 63cm.

Hope the explanation helped...
