1-add all fractions. the ans remain 453/600 . then remain fraction multiplied with 12.08 . the ans 16 meter

Solution:-

Let the length of the pole be 'x' meter.

Therefore, according to the question.
Total length of the all parts (except in green colour) = x/10 + x/20 + x/30 + x/40 + x/50 + x/60

Taking L.C.M and then solving it, we get.

(60x + 30x + 20x + 15x + 12 x + 10x)/600
= 147x/600
147x/600 is the length of the parts of the pole which are painted in red, white, blue, black, violet and yellow respectively.

Now remaining part is in green colour.
⇒ x - 147x/600 = 12.08
Taking L.C.M. and solving it.
⇒ (600x - 147x)/600 = 12.08
⇒ 453x/600 = 12.08
⇒ 453x = 7248
⇒ x = 7248/453
⇒ x = 16
So, the total length of the pole is 16 meter.
