The pole is 12.5 m tall

First, we need to convert the units, so that they are all the same. That would make the first length of the shadow 0.12 m and the second 0.15 m

From this we can create a proportion that is  \frac{10}{0.12} =\frac{x}{0.15}

From here, we can cross multiply and get 0.12 x=1.5

Next we can isolate the x by dividing each side by 0.12

This will give us  x=12.5
