Thus the shadow length is 81.2 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Shadow Length = BA' = BD + A'D = 0.5 + 0.5 tan r

Now 1.33 = Sin 45° / Sin r

Sin r = 0.53

Cos r = √ 1 - sin^2 r = √ 1 - (0.53) = 0.85

So tan r = 0.6235

Now shadow length = (0.5) ( 1 + 0.6235) = 81.2 cm

Thus the shadow length is 81.2 cm
