A police van moving on highway with a speed of 30 kmph fires a bullet at a theif's car speeding away in the same direction with a speed of 192 kmph .If the muscle speed of bullet is 150m/sec then with what speed bullet hit the theif's car

Speed of van = 30 * 1000 / 3600 = 8.33 m/s

Speed of car = 192 * 1000 / 3600 = 53.3 m/s

Relative to ground speed of bullet = 150 + 8.33 = 158.3 m/s

158.3 - 53.3 = 105 m/s     relative of speed of bullet to thief's car
