The degree of the remaining should be 2 or less.
Because division algorithm states...
p(x) = g(x)q(x) + r(x) where deg r(x)<deg q(x)
...and in the above question, the degree of q(x) shall be 3 because polynomial of degree 5 is divided by that of 2.

Answer:
Step-by-step explanation:
From ur question degrees are
P(x) = a^5
G(x) = a^2
Then Q(x) = a^(5-2) = a^3
And R(x) = a^1 and it is same at all form of degrees in P(x) and others.
Hope this Helps
