a porter keeps standing at a place while holding a suitcase of mass 20 kg over his head for five minutes, has he done some work?Give reason for your answer.

No because work is only done when a force is applied and displacement takes place but in this place a displacement does not take place as a suitcase does not move therefore no work is done

Here, no work is done by the porter because the angle between force and Displacement is 0° . So effect of work would be produced by the porter.
