Answer:

work done = FS

F=mg

s=h

work = mgh

=15×10×1.5

=225joule

Explanation:

work = energy

Given:

mass,m=15kg

height,h=1.5m

gravitational acceleration,g=9.8m/s^2 or 10m/s^2

Available Formulas :

w=s

potential energy=mgh

kinetic energy=1/2mv^2

we have Mass height and gravitational acceleration therefore we use our second formula that is potential energy=mgh

here in the question it is not given to use g=10 therefore we will use g=9.8

work done = mgh

= 15×1.5×9.8

=22.5×9.8

=220.5 j
