A porter lifts a luggage of 15 kg from the ground and puts it on his head 1.5m above the ground. Calculate the work done by gravity on the luggage.

In the given question,

Mass(m) = 15 kg
Acceleration due to Gravity (g) = 10 m/s^2
Height (h) = 1.5 m

Work = mgh
=> W = (15 x 10 x 1.5) Joules
=> W = 225 Joules
