Work done by the porter on the luggage = Force x displacement

                                                                    = mgh

                                                                     = 15 kg x (9.8 m/s2) x 1.5 m

                                                                      = 220.5 J

Solution-

Given,

  • F = 7 N
  • s = 1.5 m

We known that,

Work = Force × Distance

= 7 N × 1.5 m

= 10.5 J

∴ The work done by the porter on the luggage is 10.5 J
